I am a professional comedian and actor. I have appeared in hundreds of movies, television shows, commercials and print ads. Austin Powers Goldmember, Miami CSI and Comedy Central’s Make Me Laugh are just 3 of the many credits I have. As a comedian, I have performed all over the world during my career and have been seen on several shows for Comedy Central, MTV, NBC, Spanish TV and PBS to name a few. I am also a Co-founding member of Lafaholix. We perform nationwide for people battling alcohol and drug addiction. I produce a weekly comedy show at the 202 Club in Anaheim. It is my favorite show. We have had some of the best comedians in the world appear on our stage over the past 10 years. The show was featured on CBS 60 Minutes and has been featured in the OC Register and the OC Weekly several times.
My movie, “Porters” which was nominated for Best Screenplay at the 2010 L.A. Film Festival is now on DVD. Another movie I was in called, “The Lizard Man” is also out on DVD. I am currently working on a documentary about the Lafaholix, telling the story of how laughter in recovery has become my mission in life.
When I am not performing, I love the beach and meeting new people. I love whooping it up all night long as well as watching movies on the couch with my girlfriend, Corinne. I love big blockbuster movies and interesting books. I am funny a lot of the time, but I am very good at being serious when the occasion calls for it.
I am very opinionated when it comes to politics. I am a Republican who leans slightly right of center. I probably talk too much when I should listen and I am pretty sensitive sometimes. Despite my vocal opinions I am one of the easiest guys in the world to get along with.
Since I get asked these three questions every day, I will answer them. First, I am 1/2 Scottish, 1/4 Hawaiian and 1/4 Portuguese. The name Leborio (Originally Liborio) is Portuguese. Second, yes, I am the same Pat Leborio the former football/baseball player. Today I have 10 years plus sobriety. Life in recovery is the most fun I’ve ever had, meeting new people and meeting Corinne, the girl of my dreams.
I love sushi, James Bond, Guns & Roses, Ronald Reagan, Shakespeare, The I.D. Channel, Ancient Egypt, Picasso, Live Theatre, 80s Hair Bands, Will Farrell, Linkin Park, Franki Doll and Huge Chocolate Shakes. My comedy idol is Craig Shoemaker.
